The AGM took place on Sun 4th February 2018 at the HENTY INN. A review of the last season and challenges ahead discusses . The new Committee was elected, with new captains - details posted soon.

The winter nets this year we are trying a new venue at the Littlehampton academy school, stating on Thursday evening 15th Feb for eight weeks. Sessions for the Colts followed by the Adults are planned, contact the Committee for details.

The next Club Quiz Evening will be held on Saturday 17th Feb at the Village Hall, stating at 7pm prompt - please contact the committee for details.

A Very successful and well attended Club Quiz Evening was held on Saturday 28th October at the Village Hall - thanks to Craig for organising.

Club Social and quiz was held on Friday evening 28th April at the Village Hall, Thank you to over 100 people who attended and helped us raise funds.

Workparties at the ground to prepare for the new season, were on Sun 2nd and 9th April.

Indoor Nets for Colts and Adults were held at Arundel Castle Academy - During Feb and March for six weeks.

Buffet and awards night was held at the Henty Arms on Friday 25th November 2016- award winners, club and individual playing Stats for the 2016 Season will listed shortly.


Sussex County Cricket Club NATWEST OSCA 2015 awarded to our groundsman : .
Peter Bromley (our Groundsman) WINS the Sussex County Cricket Club Natwest OSCA award for Groundsmanship.
The award was presented by Zac Toumazi, Chief Executive of SCCC, at the OSCA dinner held at the County Ground on Fri 11th Sept 2015.

We are a traditional Village Cricket Club with a non-league Saturday XI and a social Sunday XI. We home ground is at the Little Twitten Rec in Ferring, near Goring, located between East Preston and Worthing in West Sussex on the South Coast of England.

Please support our club fundraising by using our webshop (established April 2003) - there are many bargains to be had and the range of products and suppliers is always increasing. Every confirmed purchase helps us to improve facilities on and off the ground.

Club Information

The Club has been established for nearly 125 years. We are one of the few remaining clubs in this part of West Sussex who still play friendly non-League Cricket on Saturdays.

Our Season starts in late April each year and continues until the end of September. We are always looking for new fixtures from equally enthusiastic sides within Sussex and surrounding counties.

We play home matches on the village cricket ground located at the "Little Twitten" in Ferring which is approx. one mile from the sea and has very pleasant views, in the distance, of the South Downs.

Cricket is the only sport played on the ground which is totally enclosed, the square is maintained by our own qualified Groundsman.

We actively encouraging younger Cricketers to join us in playing friendly cricket and continue to invest in coaching courses and training for all aspects of Cricket in the community.  We are always interested in recruiting new members, please contact any member of the committee or e-mail us.

Indoor Nets are arranged each year, proceeding the start of the season and outdoor nets are run on some Sunday mornings at the ground during the summer months.   

Several social and special events are planned during each season, these may include:

Fund raising Jumble sale in the Spring.

Indoor nets (subject to availability and levels of support) between February and April at Arundel Castle Academy.
Pre-season Social/Buffet at the Henty Pub in April.
Pub games evening mid season at the Henty Pub.
Participation in the Highdown Cricket tour of Dorset in June.

Sussex Women's county age-group match held at the Little Twitten.

Presidents match Vs Ferring CC XI in July.
Annual end of the Season Dinner and Awards in November.
